If I wanted to play SNES games with my kids—what’s the best set up? Buy an old SNES on eBay? Analogue Super NT on eBay? Another emulator? What about games? Goal is as close to original feel with controllers / playing on a TV.

Once our kids were old enough we just went for a switch. I’m cool with modern day graphic upgrades and such. Super Mario World and Mario Kart And then all played a Zelda game together, each kid getting a turn for 20 minutes when we played. Was an attempt to introduce video games and make them a bit more co-op. Son still plays - moved onto Minecraft and other Zelda games and the girls occasionally do animal crossing of Mario. He’ll also play the og Mario from Nintendo on the switch. Son was probably 5-6 when we started, he’s the youngest… might have been a touch too young in terms of hooking him on the dopamine of video games.
