with TikTok, users decide who wins (algo boosts based on video performance) and therefore which creators gets paid

with Drakula, 8 people decide which creators get paid (unless i understand wrong)

TikTok: more decentralized, maybe less pay
Drakula: less decentralized, maybe more pay

hmm pretty sure tik tok seeded or incentivized creators to post early on - as did insta with reels, which would have been decided on by the companies

So not sure this is a perfect analogy.

I haven’t used Drakula much as either my connection or cache just loops.

The same circuit.? Ted x30 ? Coop x15 and so on.  I would assume sone type of integration re Farcaster might also make it feel different.  Imagine airdrops to your fans/holders, gated sales, discount codes > frame shopping.

thought experiment, not an analogy, to see if creators care about decentralization or not ! 

not saying one is better or worse, just pointing out current state of TikTok (not it’s early state) vs current state of Drakula

tbh i think creators may only want $$ so drakula wins; that’s what will decide it for me
