I’m probably a big if an outlier, never held any significant btc, cause I mainly got into crypto to explore and try new things, which drive me to Ethereum and Solana.

As such I often feel over my skies when attempting to understand how Bitcoin solves the energy cost without significant appreciation.

Eventually I always ended up at > lot of money at stake, lot of smart folks, surely they’ll figure something out?

Do you think advances in compute over time will offset the increasing energy costs?

Otherwise… those use cases, hmm.

when you create a cargo cult around the random writings of someone who didn't want a personality cult and just wanted to be left alone, and run out of wisdom to extract, leaving open questions to infighting – e.g. ordinals were probably _not_ something satoshi wanted, but there isn't enough historical writings to explicitly confirm this so the community split can't agree on whether their existence is a bug or a feature – don't expect the hard problems to get solved
