In some ways yes. But also no.

Competition among the L2s is exactly what's needed. Need interop between them to enhance UX back to unified Ethereum.

It’s definitely a bold move, but there’s a lot of potential in Base. It could be the key to scalability and user adoption for Ethereum. Still, we should tread carefully

do you know base is selling all of the $ETH generated through fees?

I believe base is no 1 but eyes should be kept on other L2 as well
