a lotta people in crypto build downstream of things with the goal of "helping people do X in crypto". there's nothing wrong with this approach, but it fundamentally lacks that dog. instead, have a vision of what people should be doing onchain and execute.

People will read this then still go back to what they’re working on and decide to follow the lead of someone else and blame it on what others will expect To follow this advice, as you should, you must dare to disagree, do so with conviction and potentially without support

I agree. Many people in crypto focus on the "how" rather than the "why." It's better to develop solutions with a clear vision of what users should be doing in crypto.

The “_____, but onchain” mindset is a different (sometimes shallow, opportunistic, etc.) dog for sure, but necessary to bridge the gap. It can’t be *just* analogies, but there must be analogies.
