~50% of people don’t have an inner monologue. do you?

when does it happen for you, or is it 24/7?

I have the Apple #4 version of an inner monologue. I don't get it when people say they actually "hear" themselves vividly.

I believe Ted's OP and the image you've shared are different. This image more so pertains to Aphantasia (I have this and also recently shared this exact image and a discussion about it), whereas the OP is referencing 50% of people can't "talk to themselves" in their mind. 

I am a 5 on the apple scale (Aphantasia) but I do have an inner monologue. 

It's extremely interesting knowing we all have various combinations of our ability to visualize imagery, and also yay/nay of can/can't talk to ourselves in our mind.
