I really want to know do folks think about the audience before they build the product or after ? And if so how do you go about getting that audience because there is a disconnect somewhere

Sometimes I listen to people and then ask about their friction points. ask them things like "if you had a magic wand.. what would you wish for?" and then i see check other groups/friends/strangers their thoughts on it... if it seems from my gut that it's something that should exist and i'm excited about it... then i build it. if any of those things don't align -- then it's not for me.

That makes sense I’m afraid some folks have the tools to build and are just building to build which is cool but it can also be much more difficult to include pmf after..
