The Roman Empire Retvrn LARP morphing into Andrew Jackson Americana LARP is just schizophrenic. It's like trying to be both Caesar mighty empire and the anti-establishment rebel plucky underdog. These are fundamentally contradictory fantasies. One is about imperial might and global dominance. The other is about rejecting "foreign" influence and celebrating a mythologized rural Americana. The fundamental bug is trying to run mutually exclusive political processes in parallel while sharing the same memory space. No amount of error handling can resolve this architectural contradiction.

Surprising how the new narrative seems both incoherent, yet convincing more and more people (including “educated” ones). There is novelty here, in how it seems to crystallize and spread.

Not to mention the revival of pre 20th century Continental Conservatism which consists of an outright rejection of the very premise of America (liberalism), and even more so American culture (“products people want”).
