David Sedaris. I wouldn’t call him one of my favorite writers but I so greatly appreciate the authenticity, self-reflection, entertainment, and humor he brings to his work. I want to write like that insofar as the ability to have my voice and lived experience jump off the page. Also Mitch Hedberg. Dude wrote jokes like no other comedian.

Very interesting. I did his MasterClass a few years ago and thought very highly of the same qualities you mention here. And I was surprised, I didn't really know him before that. Thanks for sharing!
