Are memecoins good or bad? 

I think they sit somewhere in the triangle between buying pokemon cards and going to the casino and day trading. 

I don't personally don't do much of those things, but I understand the appeal and don't think we need to shame people who do it.

Bc they are here to stay. 

Memecoins are attention markets for ideas/people/things. They literally assign value to attention and are the most important attention monetization primitive ever created

Today we see them as volatile markets for trading but in the future they will be just as much part of social media and content as the like button and For You Feed.
