DAO tooling is such a nerd snipe
CT nerds can sense the potential for it, it's fun to design and build, no one (yet) seems to have substantive willingness to pay for it.

This will change.

I'm seeing some pretty substantive inflows for DAO tooling in smaller niche areas. 

I think the problem is most devs building tooling want to throw some contracts up and think ppl will just figure out how to use them.

Devs that are funded and building for a specific use case and onboarding the users directly are shipping more useful tools.

This is (to some extent) factually incorrect. Lots of DAO's are willing to pay for tools, *if*...

- The subscription price is lower than their reserve price for value added (think Charmverse or Den, not Utopia or Collabland)
- There is actually a pricing model and on-chain payment option.
-Their Sobol instance pulled in on-chain data from Hats and other sources rather than Discord, allowed sovereign groups to affiliate w/ each other (a la linked Hats trees) rather than only supporting monoliths.
