the most obvious future state of interactive content: š¤ instant checkout no more external checkout links. no more forms. user info and address at some point will be built in to our onchain identities. and affiliate attribution is clear.

Chargebacks are a bitch. Especially for the digital goods. Will be interesting to see who that risk is gonna land on. Imagining itās gonna be the client app dev w the fiat ācommerceā (merchant) account. Abstracted offchain points system probably wonāt eliminate the headache. Might make it worse.

Are chargebacks even a thing in this new world? Seems to be that the risk will land on the person clicking the link that spends from their wallet. I think is the right thing. Great brands will be known for initiating chargebacks for unhappy customers.

I think you answered your own question. They will exist & yeah the Darwinian marketplace will take over. Social layer may have big role here. Different maybe better. Having proof of existence here is key. Havenāt seen frames doing that but maybe some are. Probabilistic sampling & that LP idea are pretty interesting

It's worth clarifying that in this new world these aren't technically "chargebacks" (even tho I used that word when describing what brands will do) With credit cards the risk is on the seller. With crypto, the risk is on the buyer, and "refunds" (a more accurate word than "chargeback") will be part of a brand promise.

Yeah refunds when there is no credit issued. We arenāt disagreeing here. IF a frame-platform (think wc, sc, etc) has its fiat merchant account transact directly w a frame my hunch is thereās an exposure. Not sure if abstracting to offchain points helps them. Uncontested consumer claims chargeback on digital good.
