What do you do when you're called sir? 

I've just turned that into a non-gender way of trying to address someone respectfully, so don't correct them. 

My discernment measurement is whether I think something is good for my nieces, but I'm not actually sure if it is or not.

It might have been fatigue that made me kinda say fuck it, sir is genderless, which doesn't really help.
