I totally understand all of these comments by @proto on different wallets. 

I think this is asking for a Postman-esque developer wallet/API tool rather than a day to day wallet.

And it’s completely at odds with day-to-day wallet adoption.

Exactly, as a technical user I am still looking for the UX of browser dapps, but with a wallet that has the technical transparency and ownership of something like the cast CLI in foundry.

I was doing a bad job of trying to convince @danfinlay to update the license for MetaMask.

Ultimately, across all the wallets you listed, what’s the common open source dependency tree?

What wallet primitives can we make sure are OSS, funded for maintenance & composable?

The solution is probably fully OSS primitives - libraries etc. I just can’t invest in code that I myself can’t re-use in the future. 

Open source products make less sense.

I’m acknowledging that it doesn’t work at the product level in MM’s case.

Help me model the incentives so it makes sense. The first round of modeling we did wasn’t adding up, and I was doing the math. I’d rather be making full FOSS than not, but I’d rather be able to build sustainably than cling to FOSS as a principle.
