Working on running Forge scripts in Go. I believe this will be a game changer for end-to-end integration testing.

If you are interested in an op-node plugin system, please share your thoughts here: https://github.com/ethereum-optimism/optimism/issues/11152 Think of indexing, metrics, alt-DA, alt-VM, etc. With plugins the OP-Stack can support many new independently developed features, all cross-compatible, without forking.

Thinking of what tricks we can soon do with signature-before-secret (ala the 4788 tx) style AUTH after 3074. I think contracts can have trustless cheap multiple identities without proxies.

Would you call Gigagas/second a hyperstition? With Base we just got to keep innovating towards it with conviction, and what one may consider a sci-fi idea will become real.

> don’t cast for a few days > still gets a warpcast power badge bug or are my casts really that high signal? Anyway, will cast more.

L1 DA fees may decrease a lot for L2s with 4844, and it indeed forms the majority of L2 fees, but not all. If we are going to see current demand for L2s, and induced usage with a lower fee floor, we need more L2 blockspace. More L2s = lower actual fees. Join the Superchain.

Been a little absent from social media lately. Primary focus is on the final push to get L2 ready for 4844 DA. 🫑

That time of year again. Reviewing β€˜23 predictions, drafting new β€˜24 predictions. Maybe I will do a few hashed ones, to not reveal until the end of β€˜24.

Trailing archive-mode geth is a game-changer. It can make the OP-stack so much better: fault proofs, tracing, indexing, cross-chain read calls all need archive data to work, but only need the last ~week of state. https://twitter.com/peter_szilagyi/status/1687389365859713024?s=46&t=TbwFam2kmSTDdFt9ExHzWw

One reason why I don’t cast enough is that the warpcast app UX to write casts is still pretty bad TBH. One accidental swipe down on iOS, and your draft is gone. No warning, no backup, just lost.
