the high cost models have been running for years, consulted with hedge funds running on monitored AI for investing (which is what I was being consulted for)

not that I know anything about investing or data science, my schtick was running and monitoring models. at the time LLM was used mainly for sentiment analysis and a custom model was used for decision making (not an llm)

Sure hope so. 

Would make forecasting data for VC’s very interesting

syndicate have been up for +10 years and VCs still exist, so I dont see how AI can change that

The hedge funds will claim their AI Agents are “better” but hopefully that ends.

Remember when crypto was supposed to cut out the middleman and decentralise opportunity? 

I hope AI + Crypto can do that because l hedge funds and their like are an extractive tax on society.

Only thing is that if everybody “wins” in the battle between AI Agents, who loses?
