this is basically the truth! i see people are still trying to fight it in the comments but the reality is we can get groceries delivered in 10 mins, but the bare minimum necessities like infrastructure, air quality, and safety are lacking. i see people constantly talking about how great India is, but you wouldn’t believe how difficult it is to convince someone not to throw trash on the roads. most metro cities are dysfunctional. only solution for us is to accept it and work on fixing it, rather than denying it. https://x.com/deedydas/status/1869647888273531260?s=46

I don't find this particularly shocking. But I grew up in the '70s and '80s, most places fit that description. I would like to think that they may have improved their civic hygiene. But any comparison I would provide would be dishonest. I sincerely hope they will turn things around out of self-respect. Honesty. 10 $degen
