It’s possible that some DAOs will be enabled by an ai agent but…I disagree with the sentiment. When Vitalik was talking about automation at the center of DAOs, he wasn’t talking about ai agents IMHO. They can help, but DAOs are a bit too bleeding edge for LLMs to “run” them. It’s more likely to me that ai agents will be used to connect people/other agents to the DAO.

The debate over what the meaning of “autonomous” is in DAOs has been going on for a while. It’s the duality of DAOs. Auto=automatic or autonomous as in freedom. I tend to lean into the second because if he meant the first, wouldn’t he have just said automatic. @vitalik.eth can you settle this debate once and for all?
