Why does crypto not have more consumer apps? Because it currently does not solve many problems for consumers. Crypto has strong consumer product-market fit with speculative use cases. This is because it’s a) potential to make money quickly b) entertainment. The way to grow the number of consumers in crypto is increase the amount of entertainment in crypto apps. Consumers have unlimited demand for novel entertainment.

of the core drives ( food/shelter, connection, status, etc. dunno all, a16z has a better write up of it) think entertainment/novelty is sort of catch all for a prod/service lacking pmf, so weaker. If we go w it, what prob w entertainment does crypto solve? how does it enable folks to be entertained better/faster/cheaper?
