Gn I’ve learned that life never goes exactly as planned. Sometimes that’s one of the best things about it, and other times it’s the worst. Life’s unpredictability can be amazing, but it can also be so frustrating. Tonight is one of those times when it’s really getting to me. See you tomorrow

Oh boy, this! Hardest lesson in my life has been that I can’t make long term goals/plans. They ALWAYS get disrupted. I have had to work hard to train myself to go with whatever life throws at me in the short term and make lots of contingency plans for the long term stuff. It is not in my nature to want to give up control of my future but every time I try it doesn’t work. In 2025 I am going to work on things where I just keep progressing in baby steps and eventually I will end up being able to look back on progress. But I won’t be disappointed anymore with failing to make it reach big goals. Success for me from now on is measured in footsteps: putting one foot in front of the other no matter what obstacle drops in front of me and celebrating every completed step.
