I actually like emptying and filling the diswasher.
I think it's the easiest, quickest and most instantly gratifying chore.
And it's kind of like Tetris seeing if I can get everything in there in the most efficient way.

I couldn't deal without my dishwasher. I have the kind that is split into 2 drawers and I run the top one every day at least once a day since we have 4 dogs with food bowls that get washed after both meals and do a lot of cooking/meal prep at home to avoid ordering out. I would go nuts washing by hand!

My dishwasher has been broken for a year and it’s only ADHD that’s prevented me from getting it fixed. But I was thinking just today “boy it would be nice to have a working dishwasher”. Still didn’t call anyone, though. 😀

I like loading it but don't like unloading it. Like you said, it's like tetris getting it all to fit nicely in the dishwasher.
