Since “ActiveOnFcNetwork True or False Flag Hour” doesn’t roll of the tounge, the name of the show is now: 

The State of the Union!

We will talk about the current state of Farcaster and all the changes you need to know!  What’s happening to channels? Moderation? WTF is an active flag? Let’s talk about it all!

That is dinner time for me so will have to catch the recording, but was wondering if the basic gist is that the active flag is just the power badge all over again but hidden so we won’t complain about it?

I think it also still affects the ordering of replies too. I will bet if you have the active flag true then your reply shows up at the top even if the OP doesn’t follow you just like with PBs.

I am sure there are probably lots of things like that. 

The frames are particularly annoying, especially because my own posts show up collapsed for ME because I don’t have the flag true and I can’t follow myself!

I mean, kinda. 

I do think it’s true that is has less effect in what’s shown in your home feed. There is clearly a new algo for that. 

But it affects frames and how you are shown in Warpcast moderated channels. Seems with channel changes it will be less of a thing, but it’s still there. Still effecting things. More hidden.
