The Bonfire Guild offers token holders a straightforward delegation option to a group of known, long-term contributors with a vested interest in the success of Nouns.

The idea sprung out of the realization there is a void in delegation options for token holders — the group.

So the difference between this and Nouncil would be that each member has to have Nouns votes and votes are not anonymous? What would the threshold quorum options be? I see that as an issue with Nouncil which is being worked on, but when such a large voting block votes close to 50/50 on something the votes should reflect that. Do you plan on having a cap of members or do you want this voting block to be the new biggest block?

the group will remain smallish! likely not exceed a dozen members in foreseeable future

Good questions about quorum options. Until we have something like NDT there really isn't anything we can do about it aside from maybe having large voting groups like this abstain until there is an overwhelming majority in either direction
