Happy to write something out to elaborate on this more but TL;DR there are additional risks that arise from Lils putting our Nouns into the fork contract. If the end goal is to sell our Nouns then it should be via a method of sale where we maintain 100% control & are not contingent on additional props passing.

Also we had a DAO call that lasted for 11hrs w/ over 20 people jumping in & out sharing their opinions on the situation. Dot was on the call for the fair majority of it …yes these risks are edge cases, but if there are safer alternatives than us forking (which there are) we should utilize those to achieve the outcome

ah so there’s a risk that nouns might be escrowed but not claimed bc someone could force the dao to vote against the claim prop?

Yes risk #1. If that were to happen & 30 days passes then risk #2 would be that members of the forked DAO could collude & pass a prop to either not allow us to claim or spend / transfer eth….costs 300eth to buy enough Lil votes to block, then RFV 400eth > profiting 100eth. Again an edge case, but unnecessary risk

It’s never healthy to always assume the worst but in Fork 0 we knew the majority holders, same with fork 1…. This fork is all anon wallets. It wasn’t until T admit he had 10 that we knew he was involved…. It’s all downstream effects of V3. As long as the arb remains open Lil can be used as a pawn in the game

if someone put up a prop to just buy the lil nouns’ 16 nouns at bv (what you would get eth wise if you did fork and ragequit the eth) and that passed lil nouns dao voting, then would that have been non controversial?
