There have been some creative execs that have achieved at the highest level who have tried to help Nouns but the DAO refuses to really listen. ⌐◨-◨ makes you smile. This is/was a once in generation opportunity to build an IP legend and we fluffed it. It’s not too late but unless the community actually embraces art and artists it will never reach its full potential. Everything else about the experiment is great and fun but ultimately not that unique or interesting. People don’t care about treasury mgmt or onchain governance (at scale) like they do fun characters that bring them joy. If you nail the IP the rest flows.

Can you give some examples? Also, to be fair I’d say Agora is one of Nouns top success stories - starting from a Prop House round to an Onchain proposal now a multi million dollar company…. So I’d say Onchain governance deff has its niche…. Also if we don’t become interested in treasury management the treasury will continue to evaporate into thin air. 😩

What I'm taking from what Joshua is pointing at here, is that to really scale this thing and keep good people onboard that are not interested in governance or the tech necessarily, those are the people that can really impact further discussions in the Web2 space. Nouns keeps on focusing on Web3 stuff. There are a lot of contributors here that have valuable connections but you can't put yourself and career on the line for Nouns if your reputation could suffer. Pitching is the most arduous process and all of the legacy brand managers that I've spoken to here in South Africa, just look at me and say: awesome stuff, but this looks like chaos, honestly I don't have time for this as the global teams need my kpi's executed or my job is on the line. It is a weird situation to be in with millions of dollars in the warchest...

How does Nouns look like chaos? It’s a CC0 brand so you can make of it what you choose…. Take Quack & Lola, successful Web2 animation product spun up my community members with a physical toy extension - they are thriving and didn’t need $1M to do it… I just think people expect Nouns to do things for them, but the ones who realize your responsible for your props success from start to finish are the ones that execute amazing things.

Idk Bix, Atrium as a great design studio using Nouns CCO assets has been funded over $1m to work on Nouns related stuff... Essentially Nouns.Camp is the official dashboard for new business in the ecosystem and if you send someone notable there, they do think it is chaotic and it is hard for them to make heads from tails. It is what it is... If I understood correctly you wanted a Duna admin position and rightfully so, and you have been vocal about the selection process. Is this not a form of expecting Nouns to do something for you?

Nouns.camp is for governance, no one ever really deemed it as the official site….send them to Nouns.world or Nounswap.wtf for onboarding, our main official site still remains Nouns.wtf Also, the movie was funded over $1M but the Quack & Lola specific project were not
