thank you for making this channel. Pain point 1: - Crypto words (new people have a hard time understanding what a lot of the tech is when they don’t need to, imagine if microwaves needed you to understand electromagnetic waves in order to use them) imo this is a bigger problem than most think

You’re right for now, but I think once the microwave actually comes along people will naturally learn the crypto jargon

We should start a collective to onboard tons of communicators, advertisers, copywriters and become patrons of them explaining new concepts in layman’s terms

@92-
Been in and out since 2014. Coming back in, with ords, it took me almost 2 months to fully understand everything being talked about in twitter spaces. The jargon is deeeeeeeeep.

Language is super important As a TBI survivor - I’m hyper aware of how language shapes things Simplifying language here is key Also creating explainer videos is massive. Being able to make multiple sensory connections while learning new things retention rates: 65-70% video content 10-20% text-based content

I was trying to find resources to send to someone recently, and I feel like a lot of resources don't really explain the ethos behind crypto (or if they do it is too political). I just want a short, concise video that explains why trustlessness and decentralization are something that can benefit everyone.

Totally agree. At most they would just need a basic understanding of owning your identity and how you control that identity from dapp to dapp. How that works isn't as important as them understanding no app they use now is free. All our data is owned and sold by centralized corps.
