I came to Farcaster because the want of actual interaction between me and those I reply to/that reply to me. Wanted to find people with an equal level of interest in web3 & economics/politics. + sufficiently decentralized, free of ads & bots (mostly). Would like to deepen this by meeting/writung to more peeps.

I love how there are virtually no automated/spam bots here compared with Twatter. 😽 👌 I'd love to find more non-crypto stuff. I'm big into crypto but I came here to post about horticulture & nerding in general. I even made my own channels for those topics, but crypto seems to rule the day here.

It appears to be very creator centric, I love the artists I’ve connected with so far. I haven’t felt like any particular group acting as a clique and gatekeeping. I’d love to see kindness and genuine positivity continue here. 🫶🏼

Hm. Well, my absolute favorite part is how much more digestible a social media app that uses crypto is to the average newbie than crypto itself lol. Personally, I'd like to see more critiques of farcaster. We all know what makes it great, but I hardly ever see discussions regarding how it can improve!

gm, broadening my timeline with channels & not having to stay in one silo when casting is important for me. I can expand my interests without being penalised by the algorithm. looking to connect with people interested in real-world impact, /base & /non-crypto-stuff (global development & emerging markets: Africa & LAC)

There’s an emphasis on two things atm: wealth-creation, and art/luxury items… both of which are actually good things… I don’t hear much contemplation about what blockchain technology can be in its highest form… how it might shift the dynamics and create real change in the way in which we organize as human soc

I love the platform in general and the supportive creativity around development and art and pushing the envelope for a social platform. I think what I miss from things like Reddit or old Twitter is the humor. I would spend quite a bit more time on the platform with a bit more funnies.
