Why hasn’t the use of NFTs for event tickets caught on? Seems like a no brainer? I haven’t looked into it that much

Was building this for awhile but kinda got the feeling that it's a solution looking for a problem. 
If you want use true self-custodial NFTs, most people won't be able to figure it out. If it's just an NFT on an app, much easier to build an in-app marketplace. Overhead for using an NFT doesn't bring enough benefit
