Love this!  Now you won't be stepping in mud and they will break down and slowly feed the soil.  Should help with the weeds a little bit, but some weeds are tough and will grow anywhere!

It totally can. I put down sheets of cardboard, then wood chips on top. Every year the weeding gets less and less. 🌱💚
