Don’t panic is bad founder advice. Here’s why: Panic is great when you panic early. Panic is powerful when you can convert it into action. Only 6 months of runway left? Panic. Users drop off? Panic. Your market turns out to be much smaller than expected? Panic (big time). Panic gives you the opportunity to change. However, the really bad emotion nobody talks about is worry! Worry paralyzes you. Worry drains your energy. It doesn’t help you land the next deal. It doesn’t help you ship a sticky feature. Actually worry doesn’t lead you anywhere. Just makes you feel bad. The good news: panic becomes normal. And more of an a-ha moment (so it shouldn’t be too bad for your health.) Stop worrying now. Instead, keep on panicking, do something about it – and build cool shit.

get your idea of acting fast, but acting fast without thought can mostly be counter productive. panic typically means that personally, when choosing b/w fight & flight, just sleep it over - this is what works for me 😆
