Idk how to put it to words... but feeling lonely in the pursuit of what you're building. Even with people around you in your life. 

FC was a place I reached out early on looking for answers about building that I hadn't found an answer(s) IRL. It's actually why I started and continue to put on the Seattle FC meetup.

Totally. The FC meetup started a year ago. 

And it felt a bit like therapy (in a good way) mutual understanding, similar stages of building, etc. 

Like a welcomed hug from a friend you needed more than you realized.

I've heard this before! Seems to be quite common - it's hard to relate to people who aren't founders/builders, as their priorities are so different. 

Did connecting with people here make it easier for you to show up for yourself and what you were building?
