Aristotle calls “thinking you are less worthy than you are” mikropsychia (smallness of soul) In a moment that shows he is more democratic than youd think, he says that this vice is much more common to humans than vanity. Meaning he thinks most of us are worth more than we think we are.

Hahah. Now now! Aristotle actually compares the male-female dynamic to a democratic rule where people who are equals take turns ruling. But he observes that women never get their turn… This and some other comments suggest Aristotle was aware of what we would call a political or cultural shaping of “gender”
