Possibly the fact there isn’t obviously visible pre-established subcommunities for them to observe or join into Sure there’s channels, but the masses tend to seek a tribe to perform for and within and one could say there isn’t much semblance of tribes here that feel accessible to such folks Maybe? 🤷

i was thinking how some of the most online ppl i know are miladyposters. but milady posting can't really work on fc in its current form bc it's not only performing for the tribe but also the shock of bumping against normal twitter. fc is still quite specialized and not "normal." same with classic shitposters like dril

Much of the static or oft returning Farcasters must feel like they’ve found a tribe here of sorts, but those who abandon the app more than likely haven’t found anything to elicit that feeling This lends itself to suggest the core active Farcasters are likely people who are comfortable not being in explicit tribes

This leads to two problems: • how do you implement functionality for the people who want to fit into explicit tribes to feel it here • how do you transition to the aforementioned functionality without offending the Farcasters who are comfortable in the ambiguity
