Find ways for the market to directly reward artists. Outside of zora, I'm not aware of any other platform where artists can get rewards for their work directly. And I think one reason is that people are generally very reluctant to pay for art unless it comes with something else (utility, speculation etc...).

We need to build better tools that empower them to connect directly with their audience. Artists need control, sustainability, and freedom. The less they depend on broken/exploitative systems, the more they can thrive on their own terms

Been deep in this problem for a while—might have some useful insights, might not. But fully agree it’s the most crucial archetype to nurture during “times of struggle,” precisely because it’s the easiest to neglect.

expand the carrying capacity of the commons and pathfind all the patrons to all the artists (not mutually exclusive). if there are novel collaborative forms, add them to the commons. the ideal incentive starts from the dust and accumulates up to the next Sistine.

web3 unlocks new patronage models. imagine artists getting perpetual royalties from every resale, every derivative work. the tech exists. the will to implement it is what's missing
