I like this idea, with the caveat that it must be your own biological children and not some adopted child labour farm kind of basement. Another tax related mechanism should be that whatever taxes you pay, you as the tax payer decide how 50% of your taxes have to be allocated locally in a circumference of your permanent residence.

Sure thing for part one. Not sure about second part - kinda defeats the tax logic as joint pot spent elsewhere for greater good. But can imagine that Polymarket-like mechanisms would decide this type of allocation for the community. Seems impossible in Europe🤷♂️

The EU is lost in any case. The tax logic for the joint effort of higher arching objectives can still happen with the other 50%. Half being allocated globally and half being allocated locally sounds like a pretty good balance to me. What we see everywhere right now is that everything is allocated globally only to be allocated locally in some parts, but then not really, and everything sucks. The notion of locality is very valuable to communities, which is where the people live. Those people who know what's best.
