Moxie doesn't reward content based on quality It simply provides a few hundred accounts disproportionate power to distribute the token based on the accounts with which they engage https://warpcast.com/0xt0ny/0x60e6fee3 Sometimes that power happens to reward (objectively) quality content (e.g. @mazmhussain) But to say Moxie's design rewards the highest quality content simply isn't accurate

people have been doing this since the beginning of social media it doesn't work people with high social capital will ignore and tune out lame attempts from people to engagement farm the way to get engagement is post something interesting

For sure, however I have a much better chance of getting Dan to respond to a thoughtful reply on his cast than him responding to my original casts (even though he follows me). Maybe that’s because I don’t have engaging original casts or he’s more into keeping the conversation going on his casts. Glad you’re aware of this and I agree in principle but it’s something to keep an eye on and a downside of the heavily weighted SCS with the top few users. A more balanced SCS system would fix this. One reply from Jesse or Dan is worth more than a week of my usual engagement. Food for thought.

True dat. . . . . . J/k, of course. And yeah, people that have this "power" will soon realize the feeble attempts and just ignore them. I've tagged a few people (yourself included) in some casts lately, and thought it was getting a bit excessive, and I didn't want to seem like I'm attention/engagement seeking so I stopped. Just casted the tokens I bought (through a @degenfans frame) and the frame itself tags the token owners. To me it seemed like a low effort attempt to trap them into engagement. So I deleted that part. Just seemed off.
