which would you recommend more for a weekend in Colombia?

Medellin or Cartagena?

I spent a week in Cartagena after devcon and I would say it depends on what you're looking for. Cartagena is similar to Miami in many ways (climate, hotel strip along the beach). But if you want a more authentic Colombian experience I'd recommend Medellin (haven't been but I've heard it's similar in culture to Bogota)

If you only have a weekend, Cartagena might make more sense.
