I don't enjoy saying this, but there's a significant amount of spam and bots inflating the protocol stats. Don't take my word for it, examine the data. Perhaps we should start saying active "accounts" rather than "users."

As long as we create mechanisms that help users find the content they want to find, the bots doesn’t matter

The bots and spam do matter if we want to share data/stats and be honest about what they actually represent.

guess we would need to be able to use same filters for the dashes as is used for discovery

so far not seen spam on tl here versus lens so its working on discovery
