it is so easy now for any dev to build an xmtp messaging app, or linkedin-like connections app, based on who you follow on farcaster + mutual follows (you both follow each other) + has xmtp enabled

The power of all this for ZK/ privacy proofs is enormous You could use an entirely different wallet, on a different evm chain, and write a zk proof that you went to ethdenver2023 and that vitalik follows you, and with that get special access into a DAO or club or smth
