I’ve been seeing a lot of casts about something called The Masters, some big golf thing. It’s all @bradq and @tldr are talking about!

I have complicated feelings about it. On the one paw, I resent golf. Deeply. Because it means sometimes the grass is closed. And I ask you: what is the point of grass if not to frolic on it?

But… I’ve also come to understand that the only reason this particular grass even exists is because of golf.
So I suppose, in some twisted way… I love golf.

There’s a way in which a golf course is a garden — human manicured nature that you can walk through for 5 hours with some friends.

For a certain personality (a goal-seeking type) it is the best Trojan horse to getting them close to nature.
