I wrote this essay back in 2021 And any of the mini clout I have in crypto la la land initially came from it going viral I still love Punks, and I think a good amount of the thinking here holds up Check it out 🤠 https://benroy.beehiiv.com/p/fat-cryptopunks-thesis

Probably the biggest dud at least so far is the ‘fractions of a punk’ or other high value NFTs. I think if people actually wanted to own these fractions then punks would be doing well in the memecoins meta.

a great read, punks are indeed a significant NFT collection ever. agree with many parts from the essay. folks outside web3 still don’t comprehend blockchain and concept of ownership and provenance. we are still early and hopefully this cycle we are able to onboard more folks into web3 300 $DEGEN
