surprised how often i still hear “but why will they have value?” when suggesting token designs that are on the memetic side of the spectrum 

there are many different ways to create tokens people want, and making one that just feels good to own because of the belief system that it represents is a very valid and fundamentally important one

Literally every 20-something I meet these days says they hold at least DOGE when I tell them what I do. 
It's a definite cool, "part of something bigger than themselves that could make them "rich" someday" thing.
