Math is invented in the same way flying machines were invented: people had creative ideas to solve hard problems

Math is discovered the same way flying machines were discovered: people found a way to get the outcome they wanted from within a vast, barren solution space

The universe only exists because of math. I'm certain we only discovered it.

math is useful as a way to explain the natural phenomena of the universe, but that doesn't mean the universe operates within the bounds of math

to me it's an invention of a human concept that only exists in our brain. universe still operates the same regardless of the discovery of math. correlation =/= causation
