It sounds crazy but I was assaulted and nearly kidnapped by a militant cult one time, a bullet came through my 19th floor office window and hit my desk, someone mailed me white powder. Then generally being afraid of being blown up or kidnapped while traveling in a dangerous area. That said I mostly do things that are not that dangerous these days and others abroad are facing great risks including people not protected by a western passport
