This seems right to me. I think crypto has co-opted the term web3 but from a practical perspective, the “next version” of the web services is going to be defined by AI. I prefer the term “user centric web” which includes personalized models and self sovereign data (assets included)

lol. lmao, even. web3 is digital ownership. decentralization is just the most credible way we've found to ensure that. AI doesn't even need to be online to function. it's a bolt-on. it's entirely separate. it's like saying "web2" is "blog-first" like, yeah, sure, you can connect them, but it's not definitional.
