A very disappointing aspect of the crypto community, for me, is a casual lack of empathy or fairness. Most are flagrantly shilling infra, memecoins & other unsustainable ponzis, without nary an acknowledgement of the reality that >90% people will lose a lot of money, enriching only the 1%. Others are afraid to speak up

I don't disagree, but are you not commenting on capitalism overall, not just crypto?

The difference is, it's not a zero-sum game. Many companies, cooperatives etc have increased productivity and lifted all stakeholders (or equivalent) Crypto can be not zero-sum, but in reality, >99.9% tokens are close-to-zero-sum; but the biggest problem is they are heavily and deceptively shilled as positive-sum

besides being positive sum, capitalism is regulated. you aren't gonna see someone dumping all their money on retail and running off in bahamas.
