i think parts of my mock is worse, but im not sure how i like the gold part interact w the noggles in yours -- maybe its fine but not sold yet

agree! the buckle is also disproportionate to the strap. Maybe a single pixel to represent it? in looking at mountie hat images, lower profile is better, the indentation and shape is important. This hat look too flat topped. more dimension in the indentations would help

I should mention that the buckle like it is kinda looks like a lip ring which I thought was cool. But totally open to changing things up. And the adjustment of the top shape might be a good move.
