$COIN or $BTC? If you had a windfall and could only invest in one, which would it be? I think I'd go with $BTC, but it'd be some thinking for sure

Depending on the time horizon but maybe $COIN if you believe it is a beta play on the entirety of the crypto market. Hard to see $BTC 10xing without $COIN accruing a lot of the transaction volume AND you also get the diversification kicker if other tokens moon.

BTC. Both are strongly correlated but COIN has more risks: bad management decision, dilution by issuing more shares, etc.

i think i tend to fall on this side of the argument. Is coin just BTC with a little extra risk and revenue - is it *more* volatile than BTC but still correlated? Does one get properly paid for the risk? Someone with better math skills than me probably knows the answer to this :)

You can buy both. Just know you’re just exposed to crypto in both cases so you’re not diversifying your portfolio.
