if there's an app on your phone that you wish you used less, measuring and limiting its screen-time is not going to work. instead, being aware of how many times you pick the app up throughout the day is a much more effective approach. why? bc it forces you to be way more intentional with every app pickup.

i.e. even a story that inherently represents nothing can be worth so much because of the fact that it is shared and done so very broadly

money is abstract in that is it a collective agreement, and given money is an instantiation of value, Dogecoin means that we're all agreeing that this "meme" story that it represents is worth ~11 billion dollars in value. ??

It's astonishing how Farcaster has managed to attract such a particular niche of people out of the vastness of the internet. I'm in the same boat! Looking to create more 1+1=3 situations out of conversations and sharing of ideas. Even-though I'm a first timer -- always open to share and chat.

also, thinking about it, $10 in gift card barely moves the needle as a reward so what if you get a soulbound NFT instead? all of the holders would be people that have provenly completed the challenge. NFT perks might include: Discord server access… and what else?

how about if someone “sponsors” your challenge? as in, there’s the option of having a friend or family member put up the 100 MATIC that are at stake. so there’s more likelihood of you following-through as you don’t want to lose someone else’s money? plus it’s more fun and social too

i think you’re spot on. i’ve been thinking about this but still can’t figure out how to incorporate an accountability aspect into this idea. will report back once i do :)
