Okay, I’m not sure why, but two weeks ago I had over 6k followers, and now I’m down to 3.9k. I know that have not been very active, but I’m wondering—were all those lost followers spam or bots?

Like, what exactly happened, any new changes that I was not aware of? @farcaster @ted @dwr.eth @pichi

Ah okay makes sense, thanks @ted. Would there be a way to show the total number, like where can I access the data for showing all followers (spammy and not spammy accounts)?

you didn't "lose" them per se, warpcast just isn't showing followers who are labeled as "spammy" in the app anymore. varun and dan casted about this, let me find it!

Thank you, true I lost over 22% lol. Is funny bcs I did not realize this until I was sending for my podcast some interview requests and I was proudly saying on Warpcast my account is around 6k and now it looks like I'm a liar lol.

there was a spam/bot purge. most lost 20-30%

Warpcast will remove "likely to be spam" accounts from follow counts soon. 

Likes and recasts from spammy accounts have been removed from counts for several weeks. We're now going to remove follow counts from these accounts as well.
